We are going through an exciting period of growth, having doubled our team size in the last year and now need to free up more of the directors’ time. The successful candidate will provide essential support to Carl (Founder & Creative Director), Sarah (Managing Director) and the broader team of designers by managing administrative and client-related tasks.

Position Summary

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and approachable part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. The role is part-time, starting at 12 hours per week, with flexible hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

Location

We are a remote-first team, but we all chat regularly online and in daily calls. As there will be occasional in-person meetings (likely in Wareham), we would like someone based in Dorset.

Remuneration

£13 – £15 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Business Management:

  • Manage software subscriptions and other accounts

Staff Support:

  • Manage the team calendar and schedule reviews
  • Handle staff onboarding/offboarding
  • Record and file annual and sick leave
  • Update and file staff contracts
  • Coordinate travel, event planning and bookings
  • Post jobs, screen applicants, and arrange interviews

Client Communications:

  • Proofread proposals and other communications
  • Request feedback and testimonials from clients
  • Arrange case study interview sessions

Executive Support:

  • Organise and monitor Carl’s inbox, flagging urgent items
  • Log new leads into our project management software (Monday)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office management role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and be part of a close-knit team
  • A proactive and forward-thinking attitude
  • A positive approach and natural enthusiasm
  • Proficiency with standard office software and a willingness to learn new systems
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
