Evolving a Brand & Website for Industrial Marketing Experts
A specialist agency whose own brand had fallen behind
Coda Communications is known for helping industrial companies, often overlooked by traditional marketing, stand out with bold and effective strategies. Their own brand and website, though, no longer reflected their capabilities or their ambition. With a trade show approaching and a growing client base, Coda needed a modern digital presence that expressed their personality, showed their range, and worked beautifully on any device.
Three directions, then a site built in sprints to a deadline
The project began with a discovery session to work out where the brand should go. We created three visual directions, each interpreting Coda's identity a different way, then refined one through feedback and iteration into a concept with clarity, character and confidence.
We designed a WordPress website using a theme builder, balancing creative ideas against the flexibility the team needed. Components were built with animation, interaction and rhythm in mind, with that movement embedded into Figma so Coda could see a near-live preview of how the site would behave. The work ran in sprints, tackling batches of pages and handing off to the developer early, which was what made the tight, event-driven deadline achievable. That close work between designer and developer meant the final build matched the design intent, down to the animation, load states and responsiveness.
Live in time for the trade show, and built to keep evolving
The website was delivered on time for a major trade show and launched to enthusiastic feedback from Coda's clients. It reflects who Coda are today, a sharp, specialist agency with big ideas and a bold voice in industrial marketing. The new identity and digital presence set them up for continued growth, and the site's flexibility means it can evolve as they do.
