The brief

Finexos is a fintech founded in 2023, building custom software for the finance industry. At the centre sits a patented, AI-driven platform called Fiola that calculates financial capability, risk and profitability. The product was high-end. The website needed to prove it.

For a start-up pitching contracts at the scale of IBM, the site is where a prospect decides whether Finexos belongs in the room. It had to make a complex AI and data platform legible to people who would not take it on trust, and stand up next to the websites of established lenders.

The approach

Salo designed the site to read as credible in finance technology, dark and dynamic rather than a tier below the established names. The wider identity work is covered in the separate Finexos rebrand case study; here the focus is the site.

The How It Works section was the heart of it, built as an interactive infographic carried by motion, with the layout shifting as the reader moves down the page to hold attention rather than lose it to skimming. The site had to do real explaining, turning a technical platform into something a lender could follow and trust.

The website ran in parallel with the rebrand, so design decisions stayed coherent across both. Development was completed with Complete, who partnered on delivery with content, video and animation.

The outcome

Finexos went to market with a website that explains the product the way it deserves and reads as credible from the first scroll. A component-led build lets the team add and update pages without returning to Salo for each one.

The practical result was speed. Finexos could go to market faster and looking the part, which for a start-up entering a market full of banks and established lenders is not vanity but the price of being taken seriously.
